Tom's Mobile Notary Services was established in July of 2016 and handles all of your legal document needs professionally, productively, and with care. When dealing with documents that can affect your livelihood you need someone you can trust to get the job right! I have my notary public and loan signing certifications and I promise you I can get the job done right! Plus I provide field inspection services thru!

General Notary Services & Field Inspections

I am available to meet all of your Notarial needs, plus if you need residential, commercial or auto field inspections, I am also available. I can notarize your signature to any document of your choosing as long as that transaction complies with all requirements of Oklahoma notary law. Some common documents include, but are not limited to: Auto & Boat Titles, Trusts, Deed of Trust, Grant Deed, Quitclaim Deed, Loan Documents, Real Estate Documents, Rental Agreement, General Legal Papers, Sales Documents, Purchase Documents, Bills of Sale, General Agreements, Letters, Waivers, Applications for copy of birth certificates, Application to Obtain Birth Certificate, Passports, DMV Applications, Statement of Consent for Application of Passport for child under age 16, Parental Consent for Travel, Sworn Statement, Name Affidavit, Power of Attorney, Apostilles, e-Notaries, & RON notaries.

For general notary work, please make sure your document is completely filled out prior to my arrival. I cannot give advice on how to fill out your documents or any other aspect of your notarization because I am not an attorney. My scope of work is to (1) verify your identity with a valid drivers license or ID, or with credible witnesses who have valid identification and can swear to your identity, (2) witness you signing your document, and (3) notarize your signature to that document.

If a document has no notarial wording, I can only explain to you the difference between an acknowledgement and a jurat and direct you to choose which form you would like. I cannot choose for you. Both of these forms are explained below.

AcknowledgementAn acknowledgement is used to verify your identity and to confirm that you signed the document. You are not swearing to the truthfulness or validity of the document, and I am simply acknowledging that you signed the document.

JuratA jurat is used when you must swear to the content of the document. I must administer an oath or affirmation to you in order to complete the notarization.

RON(Remote Online Notarization) is the use of communication technology to perform a notarial act when the principal is not in the same physical location as the notary public. Remote online notarization was authorized by SB 915 (2019), effective January 1, 2020. The implementation of remote online notarization revolutionizes the notarization process in the state of Oklahoma, by allowing remote online notarization's, business transactions can be quickly conducted via audio and video, bypassing the in-person requirement that necessitated physical delivery of documents.

e-Notarization(Electronic notarization, or e-Notarization), involves documents that are notarized in electronic form, and the Notary and document signer sign with an electronic signature. But all other elements of a traditional, paper notarization apply to electronic notarization, including the requirement for the signer to physically appear before the Notary. The confusion arises from the fact that Webcam notarization's typically involve digital documents that are signed and notarized electronically. However they go a step further in that the transaction is conducted online rather than in person.
Many people confuse electronic notarization with remote notarization, believing they are the same. They are not.

Apostille—An apostille is an official document certifying that the notary who performed a particular notarial act was a notary in good standing at the time of the notarization. It also certifies the authenticity of the notary’s signature and seal. Documents that will require an apostille will be destined for countries that have signed the Hague Convention on Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents. It is important to understand that the apostille does not authenticate the contents or effect of the document in any way. It pertains strictly to the notary’s authority to perform notarial acts on the date of the specific notarization and the authenticity of the notary’s signature and seal on that particular notarial certificate.

I am not attorney!

As an Oklahoma notary, I am not allowed to give legal advice because only an attorney can do so. This includes not giving advice regarding what documents need to be notarized, how to fill out documents or what the documents mean in your particular situation. I also cannot suggest what type of documents you might need or provide documents to you. If you need any advice regarding your document(s), please speak to whom ever directed you to have your signature notarized or seek the assistance of an attorney.

I am National Notary Association approved and certified, I am also commissioned and bonded pursuant to Oklahoma notary laws. I became a certified loan signing agent through NNA in July 2020, and I have subsequently been certified in other loan signing programs such as Notary2Pro.

Certified Loan Signing Agent

As a Certified Signing Agent, I am available to title and signing companies to present loan documents and provide a brief description of each document. I am able to present signers with all relevant documents with a short description but I cannot advise on any aspect of the documents, including giving legal advice. I also verify signers’ identities, witness their signatures, notarize all applicable documents in the loan package, and ensure that the process is complete for a proper loan closing. "I am GLBA compliant."

Even though I am conducting a loan signing, I cannot notarize any documents that contain blanks because Notary Law forbids it.

For which ever notarization you need, please make sure you have a valid driver’s license or identification card issued within the last five years. If you do not have either, please let me know up front so that we can arrange credible witnesses who can swear, under oath, to your identity. These witnesses must comply with Oklahoma identification requirements and have no vested interest in the document you will be signing.

Also, I must be able to communicate with the signer at all times. This means that no interpreters may ever be involved in the notarization process. If you need a notary who speaks a foreign language, you can download a list from the Oklahoma Secretary of States website or search one of these databases: Notary Café or Notary Rotary.

For those with hearing disabilities, we can communicate via the written word, or you must locate a notary who is able to communicate via sign language.

I am READY for your notarial assignment, which means I am:

Your notary!
